Student internship at the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering

On April 15, we welcomed Mr. Sami Idriss from the 9th grade of the Vitzthum-Gymnasium Dresden to the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering. Until April 26, Mr. Idriss completed a two-week student internship in the soil mechanics laboratory of the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering. During this time, he was able to get an idea of the work processes and activities in the soil mechanics laboratory. Furthermore, he took part in an exercise and a laboratory internship of the module "Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering" in the 3rd semester of the Civil Engineering degree program and was thus also able to gain a small insight into everyday student life.

With his friendly manner, Mr. Idriss quickly integrated into our team and actively supported us. We would like to thank him for his hard work and wish him every success and all the best for the future.
