Further videos on soil mechanics laboratory and field tests can be accessed on the YouTube channel Geotechnik sichtbar machen . The YouTube channel was created by Prof. Dr. K. Kluge (HS Mainz), Prof. Dr. A. Kirsch (FH Aachen) and Prof. Dr. C. Budach (TH Köln) in a cooperative project. The jointly developed educational films have already been successfully used in teaching at the universities.

The Soil Mechanics Illustration Apps were developed by the Chair of Geotechnics at RWTH Aachen University. Various geotechnical issues can be examined using an interactive interface.

At the University of Innsbruck, Gertraud Medicus developed a tool for calculating earth pressure using Geogebra. It can be used to interactively investigate the factors influencing active earth pressure.
