Dreßler Construction Prize was awarded for the best final theses in the specialisations Construction Management and Building Energy Management.
On 03.12.2021, the annual Dreßler Construction Prize was awarded as a distinction for the best final theses in the specialisations Construction Management and Building Energy Management. Congratulations to the following prize winners:
1st prize: Sarah Mück for her thesis "Documentation of the development of existing properties based on sustainability certificates",
2nd prize: Lucy Witkowski for her diploma thesis "Calculation of low-tech buildings without a heat supply system" and
3rd prize: Julius Weidinger for his diploma thesis "Optimising operating costs in project development".
The prize was presented by Dipl.-Ing. Gerd Baumann from the Dreßler Bau GmbH Dresden branch.
The Dreßler Bau Prize is endowed with 3,000 euros and can be divided among a maximum of three prize winners per year. The prize winners are selected by the responsible university professors of the Institute for Construction Management in consultation with the foundation company.

Built on IT 2021
As part of the competition "Built on IT - Construction Professions with a Future", the doctoral thesis by Dr.-Ing. Anne Harzdorf was awarded second prize in the category of construction business management. The jury judged the findings of the life-cycle-oriented economic efficiency analysis to be particularly worthy of an award.
The competition is under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and is also supported by important business representatives.
