Automated construction - SafeCon3D will create new foundations

The Institute of Building Management (IBB) has been researching new foundations for autonomous building since October 2021 as part of the "SafeCon3D" project. As part of a ZIM grant (Central Innovation Programme for SMEs), research is being conducted together with the Institute for Mechatronic Mechanical Engineering and two practical partners until 2024 on a digital assistance system that will, for the first time, increase safety on construction sites by networking 3D hazardous areas with digital control systems of construction machinery and people.
