The aim of the proposed funding project is the network-related development and use of university and non-university teaching materials on sustainable processes and products based on renewable raw materials within building construction, construction planning and construction, which are processed for the first time and extensively, building-related and practical with the help of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method and made available in freely available formats as "open educational resources" (OER). The teaching materials and concepts will be developed by two institutes of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the TU Dresden, which will anchor sustainable planning and building in the basic and advanced studies according to their disciplines - building construction and building operations - in a far-reaching and cross-disciplinary way in teaching. To this end, digital teaching methods for imparting knowledge with the aid of BIM will be developed. The development of the teaching content will take place in close internal exchange within the university, but also in particular in cooperation with the specialist network of companies and associations accompanying the project. In addition, further non-university educational offers will be developed on the basis of the new teaching content, depending on the target group, with the aim of using the acquired knowledge in a variety of ways in the sense of a broad knowledge transfer. In this context, making the teaching content available as OER products is an essential pillar in knowledge transfer.
