Abstract:
In this paper, the topic of LEAN management is considered with regard to its application in traffic route construction. Building on the principles of LEAN management via the history of LEAN production, the derivation follows to the methods and principles of LEAN construction, which have been further developed for the construction sector. Within the scope of the investigations, special methods and tools are presented that are to enable the safeguarding and monitoring of construction processes in traffic route construction. As a result of the investigation into project requirements in the road construction sector, the planning and alignment of two construction projects takes place using cycle planning and control. The entire process chain is visualised in a cycle plan. This forms the basis for controlling the projects in the further course of the work. Based on the turnover volume of the construction sites, the analogue as well as the digital form of cycle control is applied. The type and implementation of construction time planning represents a modified form of project control practice. In order to obtain proof of the advantages of the new management methods, the construction times are compared and the productivity of the wage hours as well as the measure of the prevailing process stability are evaluated.
