Abstract:
This paper analyses the challenges within planning when implementing sustainability certification. By considering the entire life cycle of a building, the requirements for holistic preliminary planning are increased, taking into account ecological, economic and social qualities. The adaptation of planning processes and the additional commissioning of a sustainability coordinator play an important role here. The aim is to analyse different concepts and possible solutions at an early stage in the planning process by considering and evaluating variants in order to be able to discover optimisation potential. The principle of integral planning with individual, interdisciplinary working groups is suitable for this. This connects the interfaces of individual disciplines and can thus minimise conflicting goals. For implementation, adjustments and extensions of the HOAI service specifications for object planning are required. The architect's scope of duties in sustainable building could be created through previous working aids with additions from practical experience and the new DGNB 2023 criteria catalogue. The inclusion of an auditor in the planning process requires a clear demarcation from the architect's scope of services in every project. The result presents a suitable division and addresses key points to be considered. With the creation of a process model, planning processes and the integral planning strategy are to be shown. In combination with the created management diagrams, a short guideline is created to guarantee the success of a certification.
