Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the decision criteria for the demolition of buildings. As this topic has not yet been sufficiently investigated scientifically, a data collection is to be carried out to collate existing knowledge. This work serves to prepare this data collection. Firstly, a suitable data collection method is selected in the basic principles. Due to the methodological characteristics, a qualitative expert interview is chosen. Subsequently, the necessary terms are defined and differentiated from one another. In addition, previously known dismantling criteria from statistics and a previous diploma thesis are evaluated. After the basic research, the qualitative expert interview is prepared. Instructions for the interviewer are given before the questions are developed. Experts from various fields of activity are selected in order to capture as broad a spectrum of knowledge as possible. Based on this decision, the guidelines are divided into general and specific questions in order to do justice to the research interest. Qualitative content analysis is then recommended for analysing the interviews. Based on these findings, the expert survey can then be prepared.
