Abstract:
The thesis with the topic "Sustainable Building - Assessment Methods of the Social Dimension" deals with the analysis of assessment methods in the field of sustainable building, especially with regard to the social dimension. The thesis analyses various assessment systems at international and national (Germany) level that are used in the construction industry to measure and assess sustainability goals. Particular attention is paid to the social dimension, which is often overlooked in the assessment and consideration, although it is crucial for the quality of life of residents and the social compatibility of construction projects.
The author notes that there are numerous assessment systems that focus on different aspects of sustainable construction. However, the thesis also shows that there is still room for improvement with regard to the social dimension and that this is often less developed than the ecological and economic dimensions. The thesis concludes with recommendations for the further development and integration of social assessment methods in order to evaluate sustainable building projects holistically and improve people's quality of life.
