Abstract:
The acute housing shortage in Germany, especially in large cities and metropolises, is forcing ever higher densification of buildings. It is often the case that the plots of land used have increased requirements for the foundations and rising components in contact with the ground. For this reason, the work deals with the holistic construction-related (and also technical) consideration of the use of a fresh concrete composite seal in the area in contact with the ground.
area. The focus of the analysis is on the tasks of a general contractor. As part of the study, a nationwide market analysis of fresh concrete composite systems is carried out. A fictitious construction project is created in order to determine representative overall prices. When analysing the prices, it becomes apparent that offers must be critically examined, as some offers contain mixed or incorrect calculations. In addition, checklists are drawn up for working through the entire process and for self-monitoring the execution from the perspective of a general contractor. Finally, the fresh concrete composite system is compared with other sealing options. It becomes clear that fresh concrete composite waterproofing systems have their area of application - but that it is not always economically viable.
