Based on empirical surveys, this book examines the design options for operational property management and the potential for success of a property strategy that is aligned with the corporate strategy. Various operator models for the management of the property portfolio are developed, evaluated on the basis of a utility value analysis and their effects on success are shown. The analysis results in an operator model that maximises benefits and can be recommended for implementation from a scientific perspective. In addition to expanding scientific knowledge, the work provides numerous approaches for practical application both in operational property management and in facility management service companies.
