13th Symposium "Experimental Investigations of Building Structures (SEUB)"

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the day before the Dresden Bridge Construction Conference, the symposium "Experimental Investigations of Building Structures" - SEUB for short - took place for the 13th time. By changing the venue from the TU Dresden to the Messe Dresden, we were able to meet the increased demand. In the light-flooded rooms, more than 360 participants were able to find out about the assessment of the condition, structural safety and remaining service life of structures, condition prediction and monitoring, new measurement methods, the potential of increasing digitalization and current structural investigations. The conference was also influenced by recent cases of damage to older prestressed concrete bridges. In line with the topic, innovative measurement methods were discussed that will be used to look inside structures non-destructively in the future.

The 14^th SEUB is planned for 2027. The conference proceedings will be published soon on the Saxon document and publication server Qucosa®.
