Female civil engineers at BeWISE 2026 conference
The three-day BEWISE-Women in Science and Engineering 2026 conference has been taking place in Dresden since yesterday and will continue until April 17. With workshops and coaching sessions, the event is aimed in particular at women in science.
It is primarily aimed at female scientists in the qualification phase of DFG-coordinated programs. Three such networks from the Faculty of Civil Engineering have been invited: the Cluster of Excellence CARE, the SFB/TRR 280 and the SFB/TRR 339.
Keynote speaker yesterday: Prof. Scheffler, Chair of Polymers in Civil Engineering at the TUD Dresden University of Technology and team leader at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden.
