fib-Fellows 2022 - Award for Manfred Curbach

Manfred Curbach was elected as one of 10 fib members as fib Fellow 2022. Fellows are appointed to personalities who have been members of fib – Fédération internationale du béton for at least 10 years, who represent its values and who have actively rendered outstanding services to concrete construction – in teaching, research, design and construction. The prize was awarded for the first time in 1999. This year's award ceremony will take place at the 6^th fib Congress in Oslo in mid-June.

The aim of fib is to promote scientific and practical research in concrete construction in order to improve it continuously and sustainably in technical, economic, aesthetic and ecological terms. Members of fib are active in over 100 countries worldwide.
