Institute of Concrete Structures of Technische Universität Dresden successful at the Rewe Team Challenge 2023 in Dresden

Dresden, 6 June 2023 - The sports enthusiasts from the Institute of Concrete Structures at Technische Universität Dresden put their athletic skills to the test and successfully took part in this year's Rewe Team Challenge in Dresden.

More than 20,000 participants took part in the popular running event, which took place for the 14th time. The five different teams with 20 runners from the IMB were also very enthusiastic and achieved good results. With 720 participants, Technische Universität Dresden itself provided the largest overall team at REWE Team Challenge 2023.

Supported by their colleagues, the employees ran the five-kilometre course through the old town and along the Elbe to the Rudolf Harbig Stadium. With great ambition and team spirit, they reached the finish line and could be proud of their personal achievements.

The Rewe Team Challenge is not only a sporting event, but also an important social commitment. The Institute's participation shows the employees' commitment to a healthy and active life as well as their attachment to the city of Dresden.

With their successful participation, the employees of the Institute of Concrete Structures have proven that they are not only capable of top performance in the field of solid construction, but also form a strong community in terms of sports.
