Observatory on the Beyer Building has its refurbished dome back
This morning the dome was placed on the observatory
The historic outer shell of the Beyer Building was completed again today with the placement of the dome on the Lohrmann Observatory. This brings the end of the extensive renovation work on the impressive building closer. The Beyer Building is considered a landmark of the TU Dresden. Built by architect Martin Dülfer, the building traditionally houses the civil engineers. Construction work on the Beyer Building has been underway since 2016, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering is scheduled to move back in next year.
