Workshop - "Planning of carbon reinforced concrete components"
Invitation to the workshop on September 9, 2024
From planning to implementation - the workshop cannot cover everything, but planning must take into account at an early stage what will be implemented later. Thus, the focus of the workshop is on the planning of carbon concrete components, but the different backgrounds of the partners in the ISC consortium(industry standard carbon concrete) mean that practical findings have been incorporated into the planning. The work of almost three years of the RUBIN project (Regional Entrepreneurial Alliances for Innovation) funded by the BMBF will be presented.
The workshop "Planning of carbon reinforced concrete components" is aimed at planning offices, potential users and interested parties who have not yet come into contact with the topic of carbon reinforced concrete. The workshop is also of interest to established users, as navigating through the DAfStb guideline - concrete components with non-metallic reinforcement can cause difficulties.
Participants will gain an insight into the work of the ISC consortium. In the morning, after an introduction to the topic of carbon reinforced concrete and the current status of standardization, there will be a workshop dealing with tender texts in carbon reinforced concrete construction . You are invited to actively participate and will be provided with working material by the ISC consortium. A second workshop with a detailed design example will be followed by keynote speeches in the afternoon. They will provide deeper insights into the already diverse applications and innovations in carbon concrete. After the workshop, there will be an opportunity to exchange experiences with the Advisors and other participants.
The workshop will take place in the Dülfersaal at TU Dresden. Participation is free of charge. The number of participants on site is limited to 100.
