A Look to the Future at Südpark: Students Design for BUGA 2033!
Project Week: Students Design for BUGA 2033!
Last week, the TUD Dresden University of Technology opened its doors as part of the “Architecture and Construction Talks” project week. An exciting mission awaited 23 enthusiastic students in grades 8 through 10: to develop their own architectural concepts for the 2033 Federal Horticultural Show in Dresden!
From the design process through the first sketch to the finished model, small groups came up with unique ideas for two complementary structures: a wooden observation deck and a gathering place made of carbon concrete. None other than our carbon concrete building, CUBE, served as an inspiring workspace.
We were thoroughly impressed by the final presentation—a huge compliment to the students for their creative flair and dedication!
