November 2016 - research training group 2250 granted
In November 2016, the research training group 2250 (Graduiertenkolleg GRK) "Mineral-bonded composites for enhanced structural impact safety" was granted by the German Science Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG).
The research training group will provide young researchers with a three-year doctoral program with the opportunity to contribute to research regarding higher safety levels in civil engineering. The GRK is the first structured doctoral program in the school of civil and environmental engineering at TU Dresden and is to planned to run for a total duration of nine years. The first phase, which now has been approved, will start on May 1st, 2017.
