Abstract
The spread of electromobility in Germany is lagging behind the goals and expectations of policymakers and society. Obstacles cited in this context are the high acquisition costs of electrified vehicles, their lack of driving range, and the inconvenient charging process. The technology of inductive power transfer (IPT) indirectly counteracts all these limitations.
indirectly counteracts all these limitations. Contactless power transfer not only facilitates static power transfer in the garage at home or at the public charging infrastructure, but also makes dynamic power transfer conceivable while driving. The latter
creates the basis for increasing the range while at the same time reducing the cost-intensive battery capacity.
The objective of this sub-project is the proper, structural design of an electrified road pavement consisting of precast concrete elements for the realization of the charging process while driving. For this purpose, the predominantly mechanical and thermal stresses of a precast concrete element with integrated elements of contactless energy transmission must be analyzed and the precast element must be dimensioned accordingly by selecting a suitable structural design. The
structural design includes not only the consideration of structural details, but also the selection of a suitable material composition. On the other hand, the precast element must be connected to the adjacent road pavement as well as to other precast elements in such a way that an overall pavement is created that can be used for a sufficiently long time. Its usability is determined not only by ensuring the functionality of the non-contact energy transmission elements, but also by the fact that all the other
but also by the fact that all other requirements of the road users with regard to the fastening are met over the entire service life.
