Please note that this page only summarizes the most important key points of the 48th Dresden Hydraulic Engineering Colloquium. Detailed information is available on the event website wasserbaukolloquium.de.
The 48th Dresden Hydraulic Engineering Colloquium on "Constructive Hydraulic Engineering: Innovations, Planning, Technologies" will take place on March 6 and 7, 2025 at the Maritim International Congress Center.
Constructive hydraulic engineering is facing ever-increasing technical, economic, ecological and socio-economic demands. Sustainable materials
as well as climate-neutral and resource-efficient production and construction processes should promote circularity and at the same time ensure a high level of safety for structures. Changing design situations and load assumptions as a result of hydrological reassessments require rapid planning and refurbishment with strict consideration of economic aspects. Not least in light of the recent events in Dresden, the modernization and upgrading of hydraulic engineering structures is also becoming increasingly important.
You are cordially invited to attend the colloquium to discuss these challenges in both a national and international context and to discuss them with an expert audience.
With this in mind, we would like to invite you to submit conference papers to the 48th Dresden Hydraulic Engineering Colloquium entitled "Constructive Hydraulic Engineering - Innovations, Planning, Technologies" on the following topics, among others:
- Environmentally friendly and resource-saving construction methods and materials
- Planning tasks for climate adaptation
- Digitalization, BIM, AI applications
- Extreme events and resilience
- Ecological aspects in hydraulic engineering
- international projects
- New standards and regulations
The accompanying trade exhibition will provide information on products, processes and services from manufacturers, engineering offices, educational and research institutions and associations. It forms the interface between science and practice and serves as a central platform for all participants of the 48th Dresden Hydraulic Engineering Colloquium to exchange ideas and make contacts.
