When?
01.12.-09.12.2025
Where?
more information will follow
What?
Sexism, sexual violence and discrimination are terms that everyone has heard of at least once in their lives. The workshop series by Anja Wiede, contact person for harassment, discrimination and violence at the TUD, offers different perspectives on these topics, especially in the university context, and works out strategies for coping with sexism with the participants.
Registration? by email(frauenumweltnetzwerk@tu-dresden.de) or by DM on Instagram(@fun_tudresden) or on Opal.
01 December: Sexualized violence at university. Just isolated cases?
The input from project coordinator Anja Wiede (contact person for harassment, discrimination and violence) provides an overview of the occurrence and, more importantly, of support options for these incidents, because: even if most people do not have to experience sexualized violence as victims, many find themselves as so-called "bystanders" (bystanders and/or (un)conscious witnesses). In the sense of a collective assumption of responsibility, the participants finally develop their own possibilities for intervention.

3rd of December: Sexual violence at University. Are those just individual cases?
Project coordinator Anja Wiede (contact person for harassment, discrimination and violence) provides an overview of the incidence and, more importantly, the support options in such cases, because even though most people do not experience sexual violence as victims, many find themselves in the role of so-called 'bystanders' (spectators and/or (un)conscious witnesses). In the spirit of collective responsibility, the participants will develop their own options for intervention.

December 09: Finally confronting everyday sexism appropriately
It really is lurking everywhere: everyday sexism. Sometimes it's eloquent, sometimes physical, sometimes more subtle, but it's certainly always wrong. In this workshop, we want to "arm" each other with tools, such as the power of language, the comedy of facial expressions and gestures and whatever else we can think of, and which we can use in moments that leave us speechless, in which we feel powerless or small. Pinch the buttocks of everyday sexism instead of being pinched ourselves. The workshop is aimed at all people who experience sexism in their everyday lives .
