Examination schedule (preliminary)

Attention! The dates published here are not binding yet and can be changed! Please check back regularly until the exam date to see if there have been any changes to your exams.

• Bachelor’s examination schedule – 2025/2026 winter semester Bachelor’s (as of January 15, 2026)

Notes

• You need to register vis HISPOS (HIS-Portal) for all examinations (incl. protocols, presentations, term papers, ...). If you are not registered, examinations are not accepted. Registration during a lesson or via OPAL is not an official registration . If you have any problems with registration, please come to our office immediately.
• Please double check the room number and time on the day of your exam since last-minute changes sometimes need to be made.
• If multiple rooms are listed, the exam proctor is responsible for informing you of your room.
• Due to the large number of elective compulsory modules, overlaps in exam times are sometimes unavoidable.
• Exchange students  have to enrole/ check out personally in our examination office, electronic enrolment is not possilble.
• Enrolment is for all examination parts of the module (incl. study work, presentation, protocol etc.), if you want to pass it. Please copy your registration form. If any problems arise with electronic enrolment, please contact Prüfungsamt immediately.

Examination dates before ex. period / early registration

Exam registration

Registration takes place online (HIS portal; selma) for all exams for each examination period. Exchange students enter their names in the list provided at the Examination Office, as do students from other Faculties. This also applies for examinations that are not part of the degree program. The registration deadline must be respected – registration is not possible after this date!

Be sure to save your electronic registration – this serves as confirmation of your exam registration/ withdrawal from an exam – and submit it upon request at the exam. Please report issues with electronic registration to the Examination Office immediately. Registration takes place via HISPOS (or in the Examination Office if you do not have access to the electronic registration system).

Registration for language modules and corresponding examined assessments

Withdrawal from examined assessments

Students can withdraw from an examined assessment online up until three working days before it is set to take place or to be submitted (HIS portal; selma).

Withdrawal from examined assessments due to illness

• Since the introduction of the electronic doctor’s note on January 1, 2023, the “yellow doctor's notes” in paper form are no longer required to document illness.
• From the 2022/2023 winter semester, sick leave must therefore be officially documented by a doctor.
