CIPSEM is the Focus of the Current Alumni Magazine

The current issue of the alumni magazine "Kontakt-online" focuses on the Centre for International Postgraduate Studies of Environmental Management (CIPSEM), an institution of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences. It offers courses aimed at environmental specialists and managers from developing and emerging countries. In the 1970s, this continuing education program was founded by TU Dresden in English - a novelty at the time. The courses were and continue to be a contribution to the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP)

Around 2,700 experts from 145 countries have taken part in the program so far, laying their foundations for remarkable careers. Three of them are portraited here as representative examples, including the current Minister of the Environment for Guatemala.
