Welcome to the website of our chair!

The Chair of Forest Policy and the Economics of Forest Resource was established in November 2005. It is the successor to two earlier chairs, namely the Chair of Forest Policy and the Chair of Forest Business Economics and was headed by Prof. Dr. Norbert Weber until March 31, 2026. It focuses on the fields of forest policy and forest resource economics. Dr. rer. silv. Renke Coordes is acting head of the chair since April 2026.
