Complaint management
Complaint management sees itself as part of quality management in the field of study and teaching when a cooperative problem solution does not work. The procedure makes it possible to actively intervene in quality development in the event of acute and permanent problems as well as inaction by those responsible outside of the regular evaluations.
How do I file a complaint?
Every member of the university can complain in writing in order to indicate deficiencies in the area of study and teaching. The first point of contact, regardless of the complaint, is the responsible course coordinator.
In justified cases, e.g. if the respective Course Coordinator does not act, the complainant can contact the responsible office directly. In such cases, the complaint in the Department of Forest Sciences must be addressed directly to the dean of studies or to the student council. A complaint that goes beyond the Department of Forest Sciences must be forwarded to the Vice Rector for Education or the Student Council.
