The Chair Holder
The chair holder is Prof. Dr. habil. Arno Kleber
CORONA information: My lectures for the first part of the summer term will probably be made available as videos via the announced download page: Specifically, these are Physical Geography of North America (modules Regional Geography, Special regional Geography and Change in Geographic Spaces) and Geomorphology (modules on Physical Geography in the second semester of all geographic courses). If you do not have a download access, please contact me via mail or messenger.
There will be an OPAL enrolment for the seminars. For those who have signed up, I will get back to you via email. Since the original seminar concept, which was aimed in particular at developing didactic skills, can probably not be implemented under the prevailing conditions, I plan to offer it again in the winter semester if necessary and recommend participation in the current semster only to students who are so close to graduation that they cannot wait until then.
We are just beginning to consider whether the cancelled excursion to northeastern Bavaria can be made up for in the summer, since overnight stays in Bayreuth are possible during this period due to the cancellation of the Wagner Festival. If you are interested in participating and are not yet on my list of participants, please contact me.
Regarding the exam papers that are due for correction, I ask for your patience, as the papers are in my office, which I am not allowed to visit at the moment.
You can contact me by mail, telegram, WhatsApp etc. I am not available during my regular office hours, Fri. 12:00 at the moment, as the closure of the university makes this impossible.
