Geodetic equipment has to be calibrated and justified in specified intervals or before precision measurements. Especially the leveling instrument has to be checked before height determination. Also the staff has to be calibrated.

Since 1965 monitoring measurements has been done at radio and television tower in Dresden to check the stability and functional assurance including angular measurements to determine the oscillation of the tower because of wind and sun, precision leveling and hydrostatic leveling to detect settling.

For many years we have expertise in creation and optimization of special networkes, for example for the (Elbe) bridge in Meißen, for the airport Halle/Leipzig and for the flood control basin Lauenstein. In Sachsen precision networks are measured for all SAPOS-reference stations. We also offer diagnostic adjustment with corresponding measurements. Network adjustment and deformation analysis are operated with the software PANDA/DEFANA.

Since 1992 we undertake geometry controls in engine and plant construction. We have experience with theodolite measuring system (two T3000) and the evaluation software Axyz to investigate overhead components, planes and engine axis. We also have cooperation with the engineering office “Herrmann”, whose laser tracker LTD 800 is used in teaching and research.
