15 years of MSc Cartography
Alumni meeting on the 15th anniversary of the MSc Cartography
The second week of October was a very exciting time: we welcomed the 15th intake with 29 students from 20 countries in our international cooperative master programme in cartography, and the 13th intake had their graduation ceremony. Also, the 14th intake, which is currently spending the semester in Dresden, returned from a 10-day excursion to the Alps (funded by the Association of Friends and Sponsors of TU Dresden) and stopped off in Munich, where, in addition to the events already mentioned, the highlight of the week took place – the alumni meeting to mark the 15th anniversary of our programme. The event brought together almost 150 participants from across all intakes, creating a lively mix of familiar faces and new contacts. The reunion provided a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, reflect on shared experiences and celebrate the programme's development over the past 15 years. From warm conversations to shared stories and laughter, the event reminded everyone of the strong bonds that have formed through this master's programme are.
Up to now, we have welcomed and trained over 330 students from 80 countries in 15 cohorts in our programme.
