The Lohrmann Observatory
The Lohrmann Observatory at TU Dresden is engaged in research and teaching on the subject of astronomy. Together with the Professur für geodätische Erdsystemforschung, it constitutes the Institute of Planetary Geodesy.
Besides the education of students we are involved in various international research projects.

Due to the reconstruction of our building (the Beyerbau) you can reach us after September 2016 in the office blocks of August-Bebel-Straße. During the reconstruction we are not able to provide guided tours in the observatory.
