Academic Documents
Academic documents form the legal basis for your studies. For each degree program, they essentially consist of two parts:
The study regulations govern admission requirements, objectives, content and structure of the degree program. They determine the total amount of time required for the courses of the degree program. They describe the subject matter and type of courses and coursework required for the successful completion of the degree, determine their proportion of the total time required and assign them to individual study sections.
The examination regulations of a degree program determine the standard period of study, the deadlines for registering for examinations, the requirements for admission to examinations, the processing time for the preparation of written examination papers, the examination requirements as well as the examination procedure and the examination subjects.
When answering questions about the requirements and regulations of your degree program, you can and must always refer to these two documents. The complete, officially published versions of the current examination and study regulations, the consolidated text of the study documents including all amendments, and the currently applicable aptitude assessment regulations can be found on the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering website.
