Introduction

Next to the Department of Forest Sciences and the Department of Geosciences the Department of Hydrosciences is part of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.

In 1968 the Section of Water Sciences at the TU Dresden was founded and has established itself as an important part of TU Dresden.

All staff members of the institutes and chairs perform tasks in research and teaching and can therefore guarantee  scientific as well as praxis-orientated studies in our Bachelor and Master courses.
