Excellent theses in the 2020/2021 academic year

Ms. Maria König, graduate of the hydroscience bachelor program, is honored for her excellent bachelor thesis. She wrote her thesis on " Analysis of the hydrological conditions in catchment areas and derivation of an approach to improve the content forecast of reservoirs " at the chair of hydrology, in cooperation with the state dam administration of Saxony (LTV).

Mr. Mauritius Tix, a graduate of the hydrology master’s program, is honored for his excellent master’s thesis. He wrote his thesis on " Coupled surface water and groundwater modeling for the analysis of the management possibilities of groundwater-shaped catchment areas using the example of the Randowniederung " at the chair of hydrology, in cooperation with the Office for Applied Hydrology (BAH).

After each completed academic year, the best theses of the chair of hydrology are recognized as “excellent theses”. The award consists of a certificate and a travel grant to a hydrological conference.
