The "große hydrologische Exkursion" is something special for all participating students, because it brings people closer together and consolildates the knowledge acquired during the courses of the previous years. The hydrological field school represents the end of the Master Courses. After the field trip, students either go on internships, do a supplementary semester abroad or begin work on their Master thesis.
The individual stations of the hydrological field school varies annually. In 2020 and 2021 the Field Scholl had to be cancelled due to travel restrictions caused by the Covid19 pandemic.
Note that the details of the past Field Schools are only available in German language as this information is part of the German-language Master Course MHYD01.
