... for Urban and Industrial Water Management represents the fields of wastewater treatment, urban hydrology, process engineering in hydrosystems and transport processes in hydrosystems in teaching and research. It belongs to the Department of Hydro Sciences, in which both engineering and natural science-oriented institutes are represented.
Students are trained in modular Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes and prepared for a career in engineering companies, public authorities or in science.
Research activities at the institute include both basic research-oriented and practice-oriented projects. The findings obtained serve simultaneously to solve problems, to qualify staff and to provide teaching adapted to current issues.
The Institute for Urban and Industrial Water Management has three chairs with a total of more than 30 employees.
