Welcome to the “Friedrich List” Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences!

First semester week

First semester students will get an insight into student life in Dresden and get to know the faculty in a variety of events from October 6-10, 2025. The multi-day programme is organized by the Student Council for Transport Sciences (FSR Verkehr).

First semester welcome

As part of the faculty's own welcome event, the “Friedrich List” Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences will officially open the new academic year and warmly welcome the first semester students to the faculty.

The first semester introduction will take place on Thursday, October 09, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gerhart-Potthoff-Bau, lecture hall POT 81 (entrance Fritz-Foerster-Platz) of the Technische Universität Dresden.

Following the welcome address, the deans of studies and the academic program coordinators will introduce the students to the course:

•    the Bachelor's degree program Mobility and Transport Systems in POT 81
•     the Bachelor's degree program in Transport Economics in POT 51
•     the Master's degree program in Transportation Economics in POT 151
•     the Master's degree course in Railway System Engineering in POT 112
•     the Master's degree program in Air Transport and Logistics in POT 251
•     the Master's degree program in Electrical Transportation Systems in POT 06
