Pupils at the Chair of Vehicle Mechatronics for their scientific project week
Also this year, the Chair of Vehicle Mechatronics welcomes four students as part of the Student Project Week with the Martin-Andersen-Nexö-Gymnasium. In the period from 04.-08. of March 2019, the pupils will be working on a small science project, expanding their technical knowledge in the automotive field as well as their scientific methodological skills.
In the project Identification and evaluation of driving cycles on real vehicles, the pupils have the opportunity to learn the basics of in-vehicle communication by means of the CAN bus system and to test it by measuring data on the vehicle. The speed and acceleration signals recorded by the pupils are then analyzed as part of a driving dynamics assessment. In addition to the purely technical aspects, also the methodical procedure of such a rating is conveyed.
The chair wishes the pupils much success in their further daily school life and hopes to have aroused interest and enjoyment of scientific work.
