Implementation of measurements
We are performing measurements with our chair's measurement equipmentin all fields of electric transport systems with you or for you. We have wide experience with automatized and supervised measurements as well as evaluation of the measurement data in the topics electric vehicle, contact line and railway power supply.

Measurements on vehicles
- determination of the power and energy demand of auxiliary systems as well as the power and energy demand of the complete vehicle
- grid wide detection of electric arcs by mobile measurement equipment
- harmonics in the train bus/ examination of the vehicle transformer warming
Measurements on infrastructure
- determination of the rail-earth potential in system switching points 1AC 15kV 16,7 Hz – DC 3kV
- harmonics in DC substations/determination of protection trips

- contact wire uplift (in cooperation with the IFB)

- creepage behaviour of contact wires
- wear behaviour of the contact partners contact wire and collector stripes in the contact point
- detection of winding faults in permanent-magnet synchronous machines
