New train describer system

During the semester break before the winter semester 2025/26, a new  train describer system was introduced at all stations in our laboratory. This can be used as an alternative to the previous telephone  train describer system during regular operation exercises. It is no longer necessary to keep a train logbook. The telephone train reporting procedure must currently still be used in deviation operation.

The computerized  train describer system in the EBL is intended to make the exercises easier for students and give them more time to understand the railway operating overall.

The system is operated using a stylus on the tablets and enables the basic functions for train reporting with a convenient user interface.
