Courses
OPAL is used to organize the courses. To participate, you must enroll in the corresponding OPAL course. Course materials (lecture notes, worksheets, etc.) are posted on OPAL; the platform is also used to schedule lab sessions.

Advanced training in the following specializations:
- Transport Engineering:
Rail Systems, Transportation Planning and Engineering, Transportation Systems Engineering and Logistics - Railway System Engineering
- Civil Engineering:

Course offerings in the following degree programs:
- Industrial Engineering and Management, Elective Modules
- Transport Economics, Elective Modules
The modules include lectures, typically exercises, and in some cases practical training, e.g., in the department’s own track structure laboratory. The track-superstructure exhibition (part of the Integrated Railway Laboratory—IEL ), located in an open area between the Potthoff Building and Nürnberger Straße, is supervised by the Chair.
