Chair of Railway Track Engineering

The Chair of Railway Track Engineering has round about 10 members of staff involved in teaching and research at the Institute of Railway Systems and Public Transport.

Our courses are offered for the Diploma degree program in Transport Engineering, for the Master's degree program in Railway System Engineering, for the Diploma degree program in Civil Engineering and a number of other degree programs. Most of our graduates work for railroad and transport companies, in the rail industry, for planning offices or in the state sector.

Our research workshops are fully digitalized and cover a broad spectrum from laboratory and track measurements to simulations and artificial intelligence. They are not only available to our own research, but also to our students and external clients as part of scientific services.
