Lectures
In the lectures of the Chair of Transportation Systems Engineering, knowledge is imparted on circuits and computer architectures, coding techniques, quality aspects as well as basic standards and methods of quality management (RAMS = Reliability, Availability, Maintainablility, Safety). Structures and architectures of rail transport automation are functionally analyzed, qualified and the usability of different architectures and systems is evaluated for real requirement spectra.
The lectures and exercises are primarily offered to students of the diploma program in Transportation Engineering and the master programs in Railway Systems Engineering and Aviation and Logistics.
Topics for student research projects, diploma or master theses are formulated together with the examiner only after successful completion of individual modules offered by our chair. A pre-selection of final topics is not offered on our chair pages.
