OANS - Onboard-Navigation for taxing phase

Within the scope of the research project "competitive airport" a further development of an Onboard Airport Navigation Systems (OANS) is checked with respect to extended approval requirements with reference to new functionalities (compare A-SMGCS Implementation Levels) and safety related requirements are developed. Afterwards impacts of potential risks and system faults are identified and are investigated with respect to their impacts on the safety (FHA, PSSA) as well as on the (ramp-) capacity. The results directly flow into the current development and conception of the on-board display system of the client.
