Verbundvorhaben Innovativer Airport (iPort)
The project "iPort" is based on the results achieved during the collaborative projects K-ATM, and WFF. The objective is a sustainable improvement of the air traffic processes in Germany in order to establish a continuous and consistent planning of the airside processes at airports. Essential element of the research project is the expansion of the functions of the FlowManager (FMAN) which is the optimisation kernel of the Cooperative Local Resource Planer (CLOU). In addition to the consideration of complex runway systems the research activities focus on the link to the operational planning systems AMAN (Arrival Manager), and DMAN (Departure Manager). Furthermore the FMAN’s planning quality will be improved by an enhanced taxi time algorithm.
