Welcome to the Chair of Integrated Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering

This chair (IVST) will be renamed to Chair of Mobility System Planning (MSP) by the 1st of October 2023. We kindly ask for your understanding for any inconsistencies at the website during the current transition period.

Headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Regine Gerike, the Chair of Integrated Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering is supported by an interdisciplinary team which is highly engaged in research and teaching with an emphasis in the following areas:

Planning of sustainable transport services as well as analysis of transport demand and mobility (SrV: "Mobility in Cities"),
Road traffic quality and safety, and
Transport-demand modeling

The goal of our work is to contribute to the design of transport systems in a manner which adapts to ever-changing conditions and ensures a high mobility of people and goods.
