Clean Traffic

Our research contributes to cleaner traffic.

Despite significant progress, pollutant emissions from traffic still need to be reduced further in order to have less of an impact on health and the environment. We investigate which emissions are actually emitted by vehicle fleets in different driving situations. For this purpose, we analyze remote sensing data collected across Europe using machine learning methods, among other things. In this way, we contribute to field monitoring and the identification of high-emitting vehicles.
