1. For what purpose will personal data be processed?
The Chair of Traffic Psychology at TU Dresden is conducting a study on the traffic safety of delivery cyclists. An online survey will be conducted as part of this study. The personal data provided will be used exclusively for this purpose.

3. Is the processing of my personal data legitimate?
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is, in particular, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 12 of the Saxon Data Protection Implementation Act (SächsDSDG) and §§4,45 of the Saxon Higher Education Freedom Act (SächsHSFG).
4. What personal data is processed?
The declaration of consent covers the processing of the following personal data, if specified:
Email address
The provision of all data is voluntary.
5. Is personal data transferred to third parties, and who has access to the data?
All data is processed by the Chair of Traffic and Transportation Psychology and is not passed on to third parties.
6. How long is personal data stored?
The email address is used solely for the purpose of contacting participants in preparation for and during the study and will be deleted after the study has been completed.
7. What are my basic rights?
To exercise your rights, simply send a written notification (letter, email, or fax) to the responsible party.
1) Voluntary nature and revocation pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR
Providing personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR, with the consequence that the personal data of the person concerned will no longer be processed.
2) Right to access (Art. 15 GDPR):
Data subjects have the right to request information about the data processed about them and the possible recipients of this data at any time. They are entitled to a response within one month of receipt of the request for information.
3) Right to rectification, erasure, and restriction (Art. 16–18 GDPR)
Data subjects may request the rectification, erasure, or blocking of individual items of personal data from TU Dresden at any time.
4) Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
Data subjects may request that the controller transfer their personal data to them in a format that is machine-readable. Alternatively, they may request the direct transfer of the personal data they have provided to another controller, where this is possible.
5) Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
If personal data of data subjects is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest, they have the right to object to the processing.
6) Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR)
Data subjects may contact the data protection officer at TU Dresden at any time or, in the event of a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, the competent supervisory authority for data protection.
