The chair is well connected with research institutes and sponsors (e.g. BASt, DLR, GDV), automotive industry and suppliers (e.g. BMW, Audi, Bosch), testing agencies (e.g. TÜV, Dekra), lobby groups (e.g. ADAC, VCD) and research groups at universities on a national (e.g. TU Chemnitz, TU Braunschweig) and international level (e.g. University of Leeds, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, TU Delft, Chalmers University).
