Dr. Wagner giving a lecture on Autonomous Driving: Modelling and Capacity in Brown Bag Seminar
On December 19, 2017, Dr Peter Wagner from DLR was giving a lecture on “Autonomous Driving: Modelling and Capacity” in the Brown Bag Seminar.
Peter Wagner received his PhD in theoretical physics and works since 2006 at the Institute of Transportation Systems where he is researching on traffic simulation and projection.
His forward-looking talk was therefore an interesting insight in an actual research topic.
Dr Wagner is furthermore involved in the open-source-project Simulation of Urban Mobility (SUMO) and works on microscopic traffic modelling and on improving traffic control procedures with new technologies like floating car data.
