Participation in Offenes Regierungsviertel 2023
On June 11th, 2023, chair members Dianzhao Li and Ankit Chaudhari took part in Offenes Regierungsviertel 2023 in the foyer of Sächsisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft, Kultur und Tourismus (SMWK).
Offenes Regierungsviertel offers citizens insights into the work and various topics addressed by the state government, such as the economy, environmental protection, culture, technology, and more. The primary objective of our exhibition is to provide visitors with an opportunity to engage closely with scientific progress in Dresden. At the event, chair members Dianzhao Li and Ankit Chaudhari showcased AI-driven robot cars equipped with lane following capabilities. They elucidated the working principles of these autonomous vehicles and engaged in informative discussions with the attendees. Later in the afternoon, our exhibition stand was visited by Sebastian Gemkow, the Saxon Minister of Science, with whom fruitful discussions took place.
